Volunteering
Our league is run by volunteers and we expect all families to volunteer their time in some manner to assure the best program for the kids. Our greatest need is in the operation of the snack bar. FOVLL does not participate in candy sales, carwashes or other fundraising activities and the snack bar is our largest source of revenue to pay for field maintenance, facility use fees, equipment, etc. Each family will be expected to work one shift in the snack bar per child. It's a great opportunity to meet other parents in the league and support the organization. We require in addition to the one snack bar shift that each family volunteer for at least six hours. This can be done by field prep, scorekeeping, coaching, umpiring, or a number of other jobs.
Thanks for supporting FOVLL and we look forward to seeing you this Spring. Specific questions about age and division assignments should be directed to the Head Player Agent at playeragent@fovll.com.
